Muffler delete on 6.7L 2007.5

Before you guys go out and purchase an aftermarket 4" or 5" cat back system get a load of this. We straight piped my new 07. 5 today and it has made maybe 1% difference in (in cab) noise. Factory muffler is already straight through.

I have had a straight pipe deleting the muffler now for about 2500 miles watching things like fuel mileage and performance and I have seen not only no improvement in mileage or performance, it does very little on the exhaust note.



I have no idea why Dodge puts a muffler on this setup that they must charge us for LOL...

Have you seen what the exhaust has to make it through before it gets to the 'high flow' muffler? If your ever able to get a chance to see inside a DPF, do it. VERY INTERESTING!!!!
