muffler delete pipe for a 4" exhaust

does anyone have a delete pipe they want to get rid of or know where to get one cheaper than 90 bucks?? i have an 03 but its got the 4" exhaust. will a delete pipe for a 04. 5+ fit it or do i have to find something special? i guess i could always make one!

The 03 trucks have a 3. 5 inch down pipe from the turbo. 04. 5 have a 4 inch pipe. If you were to change out the elbow after the turbo to a 4 inch one and changed the down pipe to a 4 inch you could then run a 4 inch muffler delete pipe. All trucks 03-06 have a 4inch pipe from the muffler back. Hope this helps.



Ask around and see if anyone has a put on an e-brake, they will have that elbow left over.

I might be mistaken but I thought I only paid $69 for one through a forum vendor.

I made mine from 2 45* elbows and a piece of staight pipe. Clamps and all was less than $50 and about an hour to assemble. It took more time to remove the muffler than to build the pipe.

We sell 36 inch, expanded on both ends, muffler delete pipes that are designed for the MBRP aftermarket systems. With a little back yard engineering you could make it work, we have them in aluminized and 409 stainless at a lot less than what you mentioned etc. The stock muffler is a low in high out design, so you'll have a pipe like ours at an angle when installed. We also have a replacement muffler that is designed for the 2004. 5+ trucks as it has a 4 inch inlet and outlet, your intermediate pipe is 3. 5 so if you're willing to get an adpator or just fill the void with weld it'll bolt right on too! It won't be at an angle as it's go the "S" pipe in it already etc to make up for the stock systems offset.
