Muffler direction

I just bought a dual exhaust system off e-bay that has a louvered muffler. has anyone had any experience with turning the muffler backwards so that the louvers face the rear? How much difference does it make in the sound? I have been running a straight pipe for 4 years now and have gotten used to that sound. (This is a 4 inch dual system).

if you're used to the straight pipe sound, I'd run it without a muffler!



otherwise, run the louvers facing backwards... it makes a pretty noticable difference.
