Muffler Question

I know this has been discussed before Ive have read some of the post in regards to the walker and Donaldson mufflers. I want to get rid of the flowmaster on my dually. I want a deep exhaust note. I was wondering how loud the walker 21471 or the Donaldson m085171 was. I like loud but not obnoxious. these mufflers seem to be reasonable priced. If anyone has any experience with these your opinion is appreciated

I can't speak on your question (sorry), but will be interested in your flowmaster if you want to part with it. What don't you like about it? If you don't mind my asking. I've always been a fan of flowmasters in my gassers, but wasn't sure of the sound for my CTD.

the sound is nice. but for some reason on this truck it resonates real bad in the cab. the flowmaster on the short bed does not do this.

I like the sound of the Walker 21471 best. Deep and mellow, somewhat loud under full power.

Also if anyone knows were to get one of these please let me know. I checked with summit on the walker they said it would be a month before they got one in.

I'll keep my Donaldson M90544, Going down the highway it is quieter than stock with the windows up. With them down just a nice burble, not real loud but louder/deeper than stock.

I have a MBRP exhaust. I was wondering if anyone knows why it has a hissing noise to it.
