Well i lost my cat and put on a magnaflow 30in straight through muffler,and i hate it,way to quiet (sounds almost stock compared to the muff delete with a cat,i like the more power i have but... . how would it be going to one smaller than a 30in?? Would all brands of straight through mufflers sound the same since they are all just a rounf pipe with holes in it? Thanks

Personally I love my MBRB pipe with no kitty. Let just say my neighbors don't like me to much when I fire it up at 5:00AM and rumble on down the street. It echoes off each and every house and the just takin it easy.

Sell your Magnaflow and install a 5" mbrp.

The shorter the muffler the louder it will be. 30" is the longest Magnaflow makes, the shortest is 14".

If you want loud, go with the 4" bolt-on MBRP unit. It sounds cool, but it's loud, even with the kitty.

do you mind the drone? im all for the loud (miss my 97) but i didnt care for the drone on long grades and trips. right now my truck doesnt drone but i want the kitty out. have you heard your rig from the outside with someone else driving? sounds tons better than from inside!
