muffler& tailpipe question

ok can anyone tell me for sure if i can swap a banks muffler&tail pipe from a 94reg. cab 8'box to a 01 short box quad cab??if so what mods/cuts ,hangers to expect to mess with any help would be great thanks to all -carl

That should go right on for you , assuming the Banks muffler is a 4" inlet. There is a difference in the rear most hanger for the tail pipe. The '94 has a hanger near the end of the tail pipe that is not accomodated for on the '01. The '01 uses 2 hangers further forward near the spare. A universal J-hook works well for the 2 additional hangers on the '01,but need to be welded on.
