Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Muffler

I have just installed a Walker 21468 muffler on my truck. I left the resonator. The exhaust sounds good with one exception. On acceleration and deceleration I experience a high pitch whine(scream) from the tailpipe. I know this is the turbo and I know you will hear this to some extent but the sound is similar to a belt squealing. I did run this truck for a day without a muffler or tailpipe so I could get exact measurements. The noise did not exist then. Has anyone heard of this when changing mufflers?
