multiple notifications

The past few days I have been getting multiple duplicate email notifications (reply to thread). Do you know if the problem is on my end or yours? (My end being my internet provider)

I haven't heard from anyone else having this problem so I would tend to think it's probably on your end. But I'll continue to monitor the situation and let you know if I find anything different.

Steve would it be possible for you to check your logs. I got a ton of multiples yesterday and I am only getting them from the TDR all my other emails I get are OK

When you get the multiple notifications are they in the same minute or quite a bit of time between them? Looking at today's log I show that these were the times that emails were sent to you:

I got a double notification this morning too. Both were at 6:44 am, same post in each e-mail.

1st time for this since Kenny posted.

I deleted all the old notifications. I believe most were at the same time and a few were spread out. I will try to keep my own log. For todays multiple I got 2 for lets see your rig both at 11:11am

Thanks for the help I don't mind an occasional but a few days ago I was getting 2 or 3 on just about every notification.

I just recieved a double at 9:36 pm. 1st one since I posted the other day.

Count me in. I just received 3 notifications for the same post. Two were sent at the same exact minute and the 3rd just a short time later (about 10 minutes ago). I have been receiving multiples for the last, oh say, week, but didn't get around to posting here until now.

Were you on the site when you were receiving those? If so, that can happen. If another post comes in it won't send you another notification until you've come to the site. But if your on the site browsing around and say 3 posts hit that thread during that time then you will get 3 different notifications because you had activity on the site between the posts.

I got a few yesterday along with a triple one. 2 at the same time and the third about 10 minutes later. I was not on the site, I get the emails on my cell phone which is why it is annoying, I cant give you the times because I got a new windows mobile based phone and it was deleting my email off the server when I deleted them off my phone

Nope, I wasn't on the site. The multiples were all waiting for me in my email inbox when I logged on to the email. I would understand what you are talking about regarding being on the site, but the notifications were all for the same post.

OK heres the stuff why I posted this ... 6 in a row 4 at 10:42 2 at 10:41 all the same notification was not logged on .

Almost every one is a double for the last two days. They are always the same time on each double.

I got another pair on 2-12 for the same post at 10:44 (or there abouts). I forgot to mention it last nite when I was on.
