This is a slight variation of the question "How to post a picture with a post?"

I can do the single picture per post, but I've seen a few posts where people have posted multiple, good quality, and good sized pictures in one post. How is this done? Do all the pictures have to total 32K? Thanks.

I have posted multiple pictures in a single post - not sure what limits as to post size are in effect - but generally, I prefer to break pics up into several posts, as seems appropriate...

If you post the original pics over in the Reader's Rigs photo section, all you need do is post one or more pointers in any given post for them to appear - you also have the option to set what size you prefer them to be displayed in the post...

I need to update the instructions on that and just haven't been able to. The attachment file size limit is now 112,000 bytes per file. When you are posting a message (can't use the quick reply feature for this) there is a button that says "manage attachments" down near the bottom - click on that and you get the manage uploads window - you can upload up to 5 pictures per post.

Gary / Steve-

Thanks for the advice - I think I'll go the reader's rig route so I don't have to play around with my originals since they are each about 60K. It's about time I did the gallery anyway!

The file size limit is now the same on the readers rigs and on the forum so that doesn't make any different - both are 112,000 bytes (~109k).

Steve - Too late! I just finshed my reader's rig gallery, but I'll try the multiple picture post next time. Thanks again!
