I would like to see the results as well. There were some pretty good dyno numbers (some listed under a DTT thread), so I'd be interested to see how those guys put it to the track...

I realize it is only Monday, but please let us know if there's going to be an overall list of "top performers" (top 10? top 20? ) in all 3 events. If not here then where?

We went 8! FINALLY! Thanks to all the TDR members and fans...

Yes, the exact was 8. 752, at 148. 63 MPH. .

Thanks to all for the support and talking us into going. What a great bunch of people, everyone was friendly, and offered ideas, and asked a lot of questions.

I will put a new post out with more details and photos.

No y'all. The 692HP that dynoed saturday was in the bracket racing. This the first time the young feller has ever been on a drag strip. Matt gave nervous a new meaning. And something else. That truck was built in 3 weeks by himself, Matt, and Darren. Of course Jeff gave his advice on the build , but they built the engine at home themself's. Quite a job. Darren better hope Matt stays in the under 12 sec class. I'm telling you , that blue and gray truck is bad.

. . Preston. .

Team Work

We must say, that the info that was shared by many, and parts that were offered to test were unreal. Anyone that says that the Dodge guys don't work together are wrong.

Preston, enjoyed the conversations. You guys are about to fly.

We had offers of tuning help, suggestions, and more, as we are not used to having enough air to spool up. We did use some of these ideas, and a few of our own to drop into the 8's.

Again, we all need to do this more often.

Come play in Denver on the 25th of July... .

Since I can't seem to find the results,

Here is what I know...

Darren Morrison won ProStreet. He laid down the quickest pass of the weekend at 11. 08 @ 120. In the finals he raced Dennis Perry's (Sheila's ;) ) 24v 2500 with Derik at the wheel. There best was 11. 11 @ 122. (Serious HP there folks) Darren dodged a bullet as the TS ride was more consistent all day. For those that missed the TS race, these two trucks ran 11. 43 and 11. 46. Both added more and still ended up . 3 apart. 11. 08 - 11. 11. Just awesome.

Matt Stuckey finished his truck last week. He dyno'd Friday at the fair grounds to see where he was with the tune. 677hp. Jeff added a few degrees of timing and Matt came out Saturday and laid down 692. 8 SAE with a 1. 01 correction factor. Just #2. Since Matt had no cage, he made one pass at 11. 44 after lifting twice during the run. He got his warning and dialed 12. 50, lost on a 12. 47 break-out. This one is gonna be another badd a$$ when Jeff has some time to really tune it and Matt gets some seat time.

Jeff won Modified with a 10. ? pass. His best of the day still searching for a good hook was 10. 06 @ 137mph.

It was great to see not only the HP numbers come up this year, but the drag strip times coming down. Congrats to all of the winners and competitors for a great showing of diesel performance.
