After reading here and elsewhere since purchasing my CTD I was wondering what I need to have to ensure reliable years of service.

Let start by saying that I bought this truck for the sole purpose of long life, power and eventually expedition/off-road travel.

Now with that stated what do I need, I have come up with this list, this is motor only:

Guages: EGT/Boost/FP (I have a 5-spd)

Maybe a seperate fuel filter? Larger fuel lines? or Banjos? Looking to help the Fuel Pump.

Maybe remote oil filters?

What else do need to help me keep my CTD happy or at least give me enough time to keep the bad stuff from happening with out me knowing. Sorry about the long post.

Gauges, Maintanence and Care

Gauges are a fundamental, but regular maintenance is just as important. Changing oil, filters and don't forget to care for the Dodge end of the stick. Learn as much as you can about your truck and buy both the Dodge and Cummins service manuals.

And, keep up your membership in the TDR! :D
