Here's your sign!

I called that one on the first shot :-laf

What can you possibly expect is going to happen when your firing high velocity rounds into a flat hard object

I want to know where the government safety sticker is that comes with all products now? BIG Bother is suppose to protect us from this type of accident. OH well at least he can get some OBAMA care for stupidity!!!

That was certainly not a high velocity round.

Nice of the camera operator to lay the camera down just right to see the head wound before applying first aid.

Darwin warning shot. 2 inches lower I suspect he'd be in the headlines "Man dies from slingshot".

Not sure what your implying, but any object powerful enough to ricochet from that distance and have the potential to kill someone is high velocity in my book.

This is not an AR thread... . :-laf

It's not the velocity, it's the inertia... or a combination of the two if you really want to get technical. Insult to injury, the backstop assisted in the return flight. A smaller projectile would have lost enough inertia to fall short, or even due to the size, imbed into the backstop.

Me, doing a test fire of a home made slingshot, the first time the projectile made a convenient return trip, thus making it easier to recover my ammo, I remove or change the design of the backstop. I've seen arrows make return trips to archers.

That's why one does not shoot a steel plate closer than 25yds with common handguns, and 75yds with a rifle.

Funny thing is - he designed his slingshot to protect the front of his hand, that one I don't get.

That's gonna leave a mark. Knowing how strong champagne bottles are, it wouldn't surprise me if it would still ricochet.

I've got a coat with a . 22 round embedded in it. Thank God, I at least had the coat on when the ricochet smacked me in the chest. Duh!

I'm curious... . did anyone notice the shiny, round, steel object nicely reflecting from his forehead before it was covered in blood?

That guy is lucky to be alive, even if it didn't hit him in the eyes... . Below the chin or in the gut and he may have had an even rougher day... . The ball was almost flush with his skin, I'd imagine he had cranial hemorrhaging, perhaps even broken bone... . That isn't a small projectile.....

Another SUPER-LUCKY guy..... http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...&mid=54DC7BC255D12905CC5854DC7BC255D12905CC58

Notice that one hit the target, the ground, and then the guy's earmuffs, cutting them in two.....

Maybe he'll forget what a dumb idea that was since that part of the brain is associated with memory :-laf

Joking aside, he's pretty lucky to even be able to say "ouch" after that stunt! At the 2:00 mark, he seems to not be doing so well.

Pretty sure he's trolling.. Could be wrong but looks like he was making a Halloween video for his viewers. I've seen a few of this guys videos and it kinda seems unusual he was make such an ironic video with all the safety functions.. He makes all kinda of unbelievable sling shot stuff, I'd think he would be smart enough to for see a rebound happening. Hope it was a fake because he makes some really cool stuff.
