5th Gen Camaro Anybody?

Unique Performance was the company that built the Mustang for the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. Now they are building replicas for the public. There was a newspaper article about them recently in the local paper as they are right around the corner from me. I got to see one early this year at the Barrett Jackson auction. They are pretty cool.

Ya Know Tom...

Even though I am a died in the wool Mopar freak, you have got to just love the fact someone has the kahounas to build a modernized old style version of old muscle. Sleek styling, thumping power and low and lean make that car a desirable ride for those who can afford one, unfortunately I am not one so I'll window shop..... LOL... ... Andy

My old man has finally come around to doing that. He's always been a purist. Two years ago he built a 56 Bel Air using late model Corvette suspension, LS-1, and a 6 speed. Right now he' s building a 66 Corvette the same way and a 67 Chevy II with a Ram Jet 350 and a Tremac 5 speed. I'd really like to do a 69 Camaro with the LS-1 / 6 speed combo and updated suspension.
