<font color=blue>I'll be able to pop out there for a few hours each night, but I no longer have Sundays and Mondays off like I used to. I now have Wed and Thursdays off, and also work from 11pm to 7am.

So I'll be there, just not all the time #ad

How far is it from where we live Mark?

I don't think it's too far if I remember correctly, but it's been awhile and I could be thinking of another park---yea I grew up outside of Omaha(25 miles well it used to be 25--Kings Lake/Valley) but moved away in '79--but I still remember some things about good ol' Cornhusker land & one of my brothers lives and works in Omaha---have fun--wish I could be there--chris

Mark,
Not sure I'll be able to mke it, my boy has a boy scout camp out this weekend and my 3500 is the honorary tower of the packs trailer. If I get a chance to get away, I'll stop by and say high. If not, see you all at the next get to gether.

Looks like not many can make it (probably too short of notice); stop by when you can and say hi.

Millard exit is 440, Mahoney is 426 (14 miles between exits). From my house it's about 20 miles total.

Let's get some votes on a time for the next campout. How about a September weekend?

I parked in lot 10 tonight. Won't be out until late Friday night; with both Sharon and I working we don't get the camping grocery trip and so forth done until Friday after work.

Stop by and say hi if you feel like going for a drive Saturday. Looks like the turn-out will be small, so maybe we should convert the 'potluck' to a group picnic. Sharon will be making a big batch of her famous baked beans and there'll be enough to go around.

See you there if you can make it. Meanwhile, no girlie pictures in the 24v forum while I'm away over the weekend or I'll be out my job... .

Mark---haven't seen any girlie pics on the TDR... . he,he,he... have fun... wish I was there... that's exactly where I thought the park was; been there a couple of times, of course many moons ago..... chris

I'll stop by sometime tommorrow Mark, after I get up from "sleeping". I want to put a resistor in my truck, because its been taking off in 2nd gear alot lately with the warmer weather (due to shift kit). So after I do that I'll swing out for a while.

Tonight I am watching CO Ave's..... then going to work.

Truck show? Where? What kind of trucks? What time? Maybe I need to lose some sleep... . Hehe

I figure I won't get out that way until 6pm or so (after sleeping and putting the resistor in)... this nightshift is hurting my weekends #ad

Things went well. Gene, Randy, Doug, Mike, & Paul showed up. Paul's been on the board since the beginning but doesn't post much, and Mike is his Caterpillar Diesel Mechanic (grandson?) or was it son? Talk about mucho gearheadedness in one spot. Randy and Paul are short track racers from way back and started comparing stories and any diesel gathering complete with certified mechanic and racers is a fine place to be. Don't get away with many stories with that many experts around! I eavesdropped on Randy and Paul as much as I could but we MUST get this group together again and hear some more war stories. Randy drove his racecar to SD and back!!! and raced it while there!!!

It was great to see those who could make it! See you next time...

Unfortunatly, I slept all day Saturday (10am to 7pm) so needless to say I didn't make it. Slept 9am to 5pm SUnday and since it was raining figured y'all were gone by now.

This night shift kinda screws things up... ...

I had fan as well listening to the stories and just talking about anything in general, need to do it again. Hope fully next time I will stay longer and not bug out so soon, but it a long drive back home.
