MWTDR Meet?

Putting out feelers for the folks willing to drive to Omaha on 11 May for an informal get-together. I'm not even going to suggest 12 May as that is Mother's Day



I'll be out of pocket until 8 May, so I wanted to get the word out. Maybe a different place than we usually go so we can actually have breakfast at the time we said?



Any input would be greatly welcome... maybe Mark Kitchell will be able to make it...

Did a little checking around... there aren't too many buffet's in the area... they tend to work best for the group we bring... the standby place, Old Country Buffet, at 14525 W. Center Road has the following hours on Saturdays.



Breakfast 0800-1100



Lunch 1100-1600(that's 4 p. m. )



Dinner 1600-2100



Since it is supposed to be open before 1100, my vote is to just go there... meet at 1000 and go in if we get cold! Earlier is fine too.



I'll be checking the site periodically in the meantime... drop your inputs here for or against and what time.

I was gonna try to go, but after working the first night back from my vaction, I literally can't keep my eyes open. I'm going to bed..... y'all have fun, and I'm sure I'll be the next one.

So... now that KatDiesel calls drag racing a "vacation", I guess the rules are changed!



Had a great get-together today, in spite of the rain. Going around the table: Rob, Dan C, Eric K, Steve, Doug H, Gene's (A and S). Thanks to all for coming out. Rob, are you sure you want to be in the middle of all this?



Hope the Peace Officer in front of ShopKo enjoyed the acceleration demos

Doug did scare someone in traffic with a black cloud though.



Nice to see everybody that showed, too bad more of the local slackers didn't make it.

This is Rob. I do not mind being in the middle of this Loren. I think you all are pretty cool. Even though I do not have a diesel yet I have a big yearning for one and hope to have one early next year. As time goes on I may be picking all your brains for info and help, if you do not mind.



Thanks guys for letting me part of your group and I hope to see you all again. If any of you need help with working on any of your trucks let me know. I do not mind getting my hands greasy.
