the truck runs fine, then when you kill the engine , it has to winds up forever before it starts back up. Once it starts ,everything is fine . I changed the over flow valve, all filters to no avail. I have 20 psi from the Fass lift pump. I have no trouble codes showing. This truck has a bank system on it. (exhaust, omni computer, high ram)

How does it start when cold?

If it starts fine cold its likely one of two scenarios and they both pertain to the VP44. One is as the VP ages high lift pump pressure may cause hard starts. This can be checked by disconnecting the lift pump and try to start it. The second scenario is the soldering joints in the fpcm on top of the VP weaken with age and the heat exacerbates this. Once the engine is up to temp, take an ice pack (the soft ones are preferred) and set it on top of the FPCM for about 5 minutes. If the truck starts right away (or quicker than it normally would when hot) your VP is likely on its way out.
