Has anyone else felt the need to lower their truck? I have a 3500 01 and a half two wheel drive dually. I bought it new and have had a canopy on it since. Wow, what a pain to try and get everyday items in the bed. The dealer told me they had a tsb to lower ONLY the four wheel drives. I'd like to lower mine about 4". Truck has trailer tow ,sway bar,and all the other heavy duty stuff on the rear. It looks really COOL, but ,, like a beautiful woman, very hard to live with on a day to day basis! Any help is appreciated.

I am not familar with 4x2 but

look at your rear spring blocks and see if you can get some shorter blocks, I also think that the addition of trailer tow and camper special package will give you extra leafs, maybe you could eliminate these and go with air bags for heavy support ?

cheers, Kevin

Go to the aftermarket lower kits,a 2-4 kit will lower the front 2",the rear 4". it will look great too. 4" kits usually lower the rear end with different springs,or the stock springs on new spring brackets, and shackles. Fronts can usually get a 2" drop spindle, this will keep the steering geometry and ride handling exactly like stock, just lower.
