Driven about a week ago and parked next to garage. We got a bunch of snow last night and I wanted to plow the road this morning. Temp is about 20° and it cranked normally but wouldn't start. I cycled the key to re-heat grid heaters, but the light went out right away. (never remember it doing that) I did notice hearing the lift pump cycle. (replaced a couple years ago)

Code check gave me:

p0633 SKIM Key Not Programmed in PCM
p0646 A/C Clutch Relay Circuit Low
p0514 Battery Temperature Sensor Performance/Rationality

Seems like I remember seeing them before, but maybe I'm wrong. A/C was removed when I fixed heater doors, but not sure why the SKIM and battery codes.

I'm considering using my tractor to push it into the garage to be able to work on it more easily, but with all the snow and the plow on it, not an easy task.

A couple more details: It has the original batteries (yea, probably due for replacement) and it seems to take slightly longer to start than normal. I had ignored it thinking it was just because it's no longer my daily driver and often goes a week or 2 with no use.

I think you're over-due for a new set. I got seven years out of my last set and of course our Winters are nothing close to yours.

I jumped it and it didn't seem to be cranking much faster, but it finally caught. It ran really rough and smoky like only a couple cylinders, but eventually cleared up and smoothed out. It's parked inside, now and I'll check it out again later. I noticed I need a new air filter and ordered one. New batteries are on the to-do list as well

Sounds like the ECM lost power while cranking... were the gauges jumping around while you were cranking? Or all went to Zero with no odometer display?
I see that pretty regularly, either from bad batteries or bad cable connections. Had one the other day that went into limp mode and would barely move itself. The grid heater wires were loose and triggered a hard fault code in the ECM, making it go into limp mode. Tightened one ground and one grid heater wire, and it's been going strong....
