Competition My 1st Official Sled Pull! (w/Vid)

Went to Temple Hill, KY tonight. Trucks maiden pull.



Pulled 235. 75 FT on a 250FT track. Truck did great, nice and smooth out of the hole and down the track. Oo.



Of course I got my ARSE handed to me being only a stock turbo, but I came in 4th I think out of 11 trucks. Not to shabby!

Scott... ... I hope to get a ADP HX55 for next year, just couldn't swing it this year. Its a shame too... ... those ADP Laser Cut DV's don't help me sitting in that plastic bag in the console. If I had had a bigger charger and those DV's I probably would have been in the top 3! :{ :-laf

Nope it wasn't 1st High it was 3rd Low. That's not the best of vid's Nick, but it does show how well I did. Trust me it DID spin, but just barely. The truck was STOPPED so I clutched it. Its my daily driver Nick, I don't have a fancy '01 Tow Truck & 24Ft goose to get home with and to work the next day No check for 4th place... . just the satisfaction of seeing how she would pull. Got a local back woods pull coming up this Saturday, gonna see if I can't get it and place somewhere. Oo.



Oh by the way... ... the 3 trucks that beat me. . (in order from 3rd to 1st)... were a HIGH HP 3rd Gen, a Twin Turbo'd '01 or '02 Flatbed Dually, and a '01 6spd Dually with a SBC Iron Giant DD, a big single charger, a lot of fuel, and A LOT more weight than me... . however he gave me 3 100lbs suitcase's to throw in the floor board. :-laf Next Saturday my 'ol Deere's nose is getting robbed. #ad

the lil 55 did pretty well, it took a little while to get it light with the auto and a crappy TQ, TQ just wouldn't let me get the RPM's I wanted with such a low stall on it coming out of the hole, but new transmission on the way.
