Laramie 4X4 2500 with 68RFE. 1900 miles and loving it so far.

Only issues are a slight wheel vibration (Crappy Firestones out of round) and a the rear window slider switch is defective.

Very beautiful truck. I have been thinking about a new truck myself. Almost took a deal today with a local dealer but decided was too much money for payments. Besides I am waiting to pay off some other bills right now.

HO, is there any comparison between your 03' and your new 14' (I think I know your answer!). I also thought about selling one of my 03's, but they are all running great. Plus, those new trucks look almost to nice to use as a daily work truck! Great looking truck, good luck with it!!! Frank

There are a few things I miss about the '03. Oddly enough, it's reluctance to shift out of overdrive was one of them. The new truck will shift out of 6th without much throttle application where the old one would almost climb a wall even with a load behind it. The '03 was more of a visceral ride, the new one more of an iron fist in a velvet glove :). Lots to like about the '14. Better ride quality, lots of creature comforts, very quiet long legged cruiser and so far, fuel mileage is surprisingly good, even though it's not broken in yet.

I loved my '03, but I think the new one is a big step up in every way. Time will tell if the emissions hardware proves to be reliable, though.
