my $350 leaking valve cover gasket!

Well that's what it cost me from Bob Dance Dodge in Lake Mary, Florida. Of course I asked them to do a list of a few non-brain science things. Flashig codes and costant guage fault light blinking on and off, as explained from Bob Dance "must be my after market guages making the codes". A/C load noice told "couldn't simulate proble" why then does the A/c not work when I picked the truck up? Just what problem couldn't they simulate? Asked about the oil leak was told" must be the oil cap" $11. 00 replacement I aked why do I have oil all over the back of the engine, they had the MASTER MECHANIC look it over and said wo-LA must be a leaky valve cover gasket! How 'bout that!

$100 deductable on insurance, I received no satisfaction and would recomend to avoid this dealer at ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

Sucks when you get a crappy dealer. Maybe there are some others on here that are in your area that can let you know who is a good service dealership.



After many issues in the past, I realize that a good dealer can often help you out if they choose to.

Funny thing is, I took my truck to a reputable local repair shop in Orlando (I will highly recomend if anyone is interested. He found a faulty A/C valve, empty transfer case, some leaky seal under the truck he's still looking at it. Axel bearing leak, and we are not done yet.



Bob Dance Dodge in Orlando Claims " not duplicated faults and checki guage light is due to after market accesories. Bob Dance customer service is the worse I have come accross since I have been driving Dodge. I will recomend to the 20,000 members of this group plus the unknown numbers of readers never to use a dealer that practices such deseptive unprofessional pratices. I intend to inform Dodge of all charges including a copy of both parties recepts.

Dealer did mine for free also. The bill that I received at the end had everything broken down as if I were paying for it, but it was listed as a warranty item. The cost of the gasket was around $45 and the showed 1/2 hour labor which brought the total to just under $80.
