My '92 W250 4x4 needs new springs. 170,000 mi. Owned her since new

Greg Whale published a series of articles on upgrading a '92 Dodge TD in 1992 for 4Wheeler magazine, and one article dealt with a better spring set.

I need to retain or increase the load hauling capability of my truck, and I don't want the real end to sag as with some of the after market springs. I'd like to get a little better ride empty.

I think that the OEM springs are single stage and that a 2 stage spring pac at each corner will give what I need.

I'm posting first, but I'm thinking that National Spring Company might be the way to go.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Happy Holidays,

I just bought a new set for the rear. Made by the Dallas Spring Co. There are distibutors all over the country. They look identical to stock. I picked mine up in Greeley CO. but I know there are others in WY. They were only $150 each w/bushings vs $240 from the dealer. It raised it back up an inch or two and does seem to ride a little better but not much. Mine are 7 leaves and are part # 34-153. I had 97,000 on the originals.
