If I could build one of these up myself, with the 5. 9 motor, or maybe even the 8. 3 depending on the difficulty of fitting it. (getting an 06' with the 5. 9 would be ideal:D) and do the 6x6 conversion to it. mega cab. but id make the bed longer, more distance from cab to axle, and from axle to tailgate. also space the twin duals a little more. to allow for bigger tire/wheel size (some moderate 10 lug alcoas). that would be a nasty hauling machine. the one question I cant avoid though, is, at this point, why not just buy a OTR Tractor? :-laf:-laf it looks pretty sharp though.

hmmm... come to think of it, yea you might be on to somthing pete. i thought it was coincidence :-laf, but i guess not. you know me too well pete :-laf:-laf:-laf

common though, at least admit its a mean looking truck! :D

i agree, the crome and red are way to flashhy for my stile. but if it was a white truck, black wheels, a black bumper, and black stacks... . not bad

Freaky is the word that comes to mind! Reminds me of the avatar somebody has on one of the other sites. It's a compressed pic of their truck, looks as long as it is high. :-laf

That's awesome. I don't need one, but it is cool. Is that a real truck or a computer edit job? Would both real axles get power and make it a true 6x6?

the front axle would probably need to be a top loader with an output like rockwell 2. 5 tons.

Does anyone else have deja vu? Dodge Ram T-Rex Concept truck The mega cab is a nice improvement over the single cab, and for sure the CTD upgrade from the V10 last time is the largest improvement. The website explains how that particular truck accomplished the true 6x6.

I was 14 years old and this truck was one month in the Dodge Ram Calendar on my wall. Never thought I'd have one of my own.

haha, no. I just had the calendar of the various dodge ram trucks that year. I really liked the new body style (2nd Gen), but I never dreamed I'd own one of them. If the 6x6 is in my future, it's doing a good job of hiding.

Well for the price of a new truck then the conversion to 6x6. That would be enough to buy a good late model Pete 379 with a big engine with up to 18 speeds. Get it with 3:36's or 3:54's rears. Throw a good flatbed on it and enjoy the factory air ride. :D

I like yout thinking, Philip. If you go back to a late 80s/ early 90s model, you can get a 444 and hop it up. Can you say, light all 8?
