I FINALLY PUT MY TRUCK BACK TOGETHER, I WAS KIND OF DISAPOINTED AT FIRST, ENG RAN LIKE CRAP, AFTER SOME TIME CHECKING GROUNDS AND WIRING HARNESS CONNECTORS, BATT VOLTAGE ETC. ETC. ETC, I DECIDED THE FCA WAS STUCK, I CALLED INDUSTRIAL INJECTION AND THEY NO QUESTIONS ASKED SENT ME A NEW MODDED CP-3, HOWEVER I ONLY REPLACED THE FCA I THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY COOL OF THEM TO DO THAT FOR ME, I AM RUNNING A TS/TST STACK AND THIS TRUCK MOVES OUT, I NEED TO FIND A DYNO, I AM ALSO CONSIDERING CHANGING THE TOP TURBO THAT WILL SPOOL QUICK AND FLOW MORE THAN A PDR MODIFIED 40-16, I ENDED UP GOING BACK WITH A SINGLE DISK CLUTCH WHICH WAS A MISTAKE, ANYTHING OVER 5-3 AND 75 PERCENT ON THE TS AND IT BREAKS LOOSE IN 4TH, 5TH, AND 6TH, I FLAT OUT WAXED A CHEVY SS AND SPANKED A SUBURU STI FROM A ROLLING START, I DROPPED TIRE SIZE DOWN TO 35S BUT WANT THE 37S BACK, I THINK THE 37S LOAD THE TURBOS BETTER, 3RD GEAR ROLLING START ON THE INTERSTATE ON RAMP NETS ME 6TH GEAR AT 3200 RPM WITH 4:10 GEARS, I DONT KNOW WHAT SPEED THAT IS SPEEDO NOT CALIBRATED , I AM PRETTY HAPPY WITH THE MOTOR, I ALREADY WANT TO PULL IT BACK OUT, IT WAS MY FIRST DIESEL BUILD UP SO ITS PRETTY MILD, SOLID 600 RWHP, NO DYNO SHEET TO PROVE IT YET, AND SO STREETABLE MY DAUGHTER COULD DRIVE IT..... SPECIAL THANKS TO INDUSTRIAL INJECTION, PDR, TST, TS PERFORMANCE, POWER BY POOLE, CUMMINS ROCKY MOUNTAIN, AND ALL THE TDR MEMBERS THAT ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS WITH POSITIVE FEED BACK... . Oo.
 
Teach that daughter how to race and she'll be cleaning wallets from all the guys who are sure to bet they can beat her. Now how cool would that be?



I did that with a jeep and my wife before we were married. I'd line up a race, then goad them into giving me better odds if I had her drive. She's 5' 2" and not much there. It worked most times!!

JT, Julius, Im a huge fan of diesels here obviously and you guys should know that but I just rode in an SRT4 the other day (Bob Swifts of Swift Dodge Sacramento) and it was insane!!! an easy high 11 second car on all motor. there was a huge N2O bottle that he didnt even unscrew!!! Stage 3 mopar factory parts all with warranty! Very impressive to say the least. But the scariest part was he threw me the keys and said take it if you want for a few days and have fun!!!

This car had stickers all over it. It was Sunday morning after church a few weeks ago and he comes up beside me on the main drag - 25 mph zone - with a car in front of me. He drops down a gear and accels - decels - repeatedly so all one hears is the "phish", "phish" from the blow off. I look over and it's some punk kid wearing a ball cap sideways :-laf . So anyway, since I wasn't a gamer, he speeds up ahead to the next car and does the same thing. IIRC the next car was some big 4-dr family car. :rolleyes:

There are just 3 Torx head bolts that hold the FCA on. No parts fall out when you remove it. Here are some pics:

I know it is a drive for you but there is a Dyno event on Dec 16 is Sac. If you would like to convoy down with us meet us early in Reno. We should have 4 or 5 trucks already going.

i raced that srt-4 before with the old motor, and he pulled on me, this new motor feels alot stronger, as hard as i pulled on the sti, i dont think i will have a problem with the neon, from 20-110, i already made contact with the driver of the neon, i really want some, im not running the meth yet, but give me a week and it will be complete, i still have alot of tuning and retorquing, some waste gating and tweak the blow offs, but its coming, i have had to work alot this year so finding time is hard and far between, i tried a 3rd gear launch in two wheel drive and killed the tires, then it also heated the single disk ceramic and when it shifted into fifth the engine ran away from the transmission, i still need to get that double disk, i ran into some financial issues and had to spend 6500. 00 of my engine fund on a lawyer over a custody battle, not cool, as for the engine is pretty much an all stock parts rebuild, the head is for an 06, port matched to the ats ex manifold, new common rail pistons, i did all my own work, installed arp studs, i have still have to install some custom connecter tubes, i still need to get a fass, i installed a stage two and dual feed set up from industrial and a set of three flows, and i got rid of the grid heater for a power block from power by poole, i have alot more power to be had, but need to find some time to tune... :cool:
