After reading your posts for about a year and talking to several people and manufacturers, I'm ready to come to the Dark Side. My plan is to go with the TST PowerMax3, 275's, and a new clutch. I'd like to know everyone's opinion on this combo. Thanks.

The #1 bomb should be gauges.

You need to keep an eye on the EGTs, boost, and fuel pressure to keep the mighty Cummins Hummin'.

I agree with shovelhead, gotta get them gauges first. I did that then the PM2, then ordered the clutch the next day! Happy BOMBIN'!!!!!

Get the gauges first.....

My order:

1) 4" Exhaust

2) K&N

3) Van Aaken CPC

4) Gauges (Do as I say, not as I do)

Future - SBC CON-FE, DDII's, Pac-Brake or?

If you add the guages first, you'll know your baseline EGT's for reference when you add fuel or other bombs.

If you add fuel, dont forget to add gauges.....

I did...

1 BHAF

2 gauges

3 PE Comp :D

4 4" exh (anticipating the DD3s & B1)

5 DD3s :D:D

6 B1 Bomber Turbo :D:D:D

7 SBC Con FE . . To put it to the ground :--)

If you're gonna buy injectors get at least DD2s and the 3s are even better.

Perfect

dont let those guys scare ya, you dont need the exhaust until AFTER a bigger turbo if at all.

an aftermarket Induction system is worth about 25-40F in our climate (The Land of Lincoln :D) on an empty truck. and about 100-125F while towing 6K and over.

the injectors, depending on what you plan to use the truck for, you may consider bigger ones, IF you dont tow heavy loads or very often. 275's are not a big kick in the pants but BD's or DD's could be :D if your after the one-stop shopping at TST then the 275's will do you well.

and the clutch thing is right on :D it will slip on level 4-5 of the PM3 alone.

you should get guages, like they said. fuel pressure and EGT's are a must, boost is nice but not needed until you have a problem.
