I have a 2002, 24v,auto trans, with a banks big hoss installed. Without getting into a lenghty discussion on how I got to where I am today, I would like to find out if anyone has had any luck with Daimler Chrysler replacing lift and injector pumps that are still under warrantie?

when you tapped the wire, you became your own warranty station..... sorry dude... ... You may be able to take off the box and get it done, but doubtful

It will really depend on the dealer, also. My guess is that most if not all dealers in your area will not honor your warranty for reasons stated above.

Some people get lucky, most don't.

When and owner begins installing aftermarket power enhancers to the engine, there no longer *IS* a "Warrantie"...

At least not upon the portions of the engine and drivetrain that are subsequently subjected to higher power levels than what was provided from the factory...

Fortunately, I got my lift pump replaced under warranty. All mods were left installed when taken in for repair as I was prepared to be my own warranty station. The lift pump was replaced by a dealer located in Colorado Springs, CO. Haven't experienced an injection pump problem, yet.

I now live in Oklahoma and recently had warranty work (upper/lower ball joints and track bar) done by a dealership in Arkansas. Was suprised they did them because the service writer mentioned that the service tech stated I modified my suspension. I didn't, but what the tech seen was my steering box brace. The tech probably didn't know what he was looking at, or know its function. Technically, however, I had modified the steering.

Not sure what I'll be faced with if/when I return for future warranty work. Just hope I wasn't "flagged" in the system. If so, at least I'll have control over the replacement parts going on my truck...
