My fuel pressure and lift pump up date.
Well heres the latest on my lift pump problem and fuel pressure.
The truck is a 2001 with 29,000 miles on it and I'm on my 3rd lift pump. The one from the factory crapped out at around 19,000
miles, took it to the dealer and they replaced it. I ran that one for 5 days and then replaced it because it had bad presser. New it was at 15 psi and a week later it was at 6 psi at idle. I then replaced that one with one I bought from CUMMINS. I ran that one till Thursday, the day it decided to crap out. Just replaced that one with one a friend gave me before he quit working for the Dodge dealer I dealt with. I just put on the new one my friend gave me and it idles at 14 psi and WOT it run a steady 8 psi, 3 different lift pumps within a year. FASS on order.
