Here are a couple shots of my 1st Gen I purchased last weekend.

1991. 5 Photo Album

I am very pleased with this truck and it should prove to be a very good platform to build what I want. It has survived the years well.

Photos are not too bad for the camera I had to use.

Great Find...

Sweet Lil' Red Wagon :D Looks like mine in Red. Is your significant other suspicious of Lil' Red yet? Have fun, welcome to the farm, you will enjoy your stay :-laf  Oo.

Patrick.

Very nice, making me miss my 91 I traded. BUT 'original condition'... . ??? I don't know... that 'Ram 250/Cummins Turbo Diesel' emblem on the driver side doesn't look as though its in the correct location..... CLOSE, but maybe a little low. ., need a shot of the passenger side now. . It's not as near as bad as some that got a paint job, and the body man put the emblem way off... I could be wrong though... lol. I'm the paint/emblem detector. .

Thanks for comments :). I have extensively looked up and down, right and left for evidence of a re-paint. I am guessing that it is likely the front fender(s) had been... only because of the question of the emblem position... and I can faintly detect some sanding marks in just the right light conditions and some trained eyes. Neither the hood, cab, bed, engine compt, nor chassis give any indication of repaint. There are no paint seams or breaks under the rubber trim tape or overspray anywhere to be found (such as doorjambs, fresh air intake grille, bottom edges of fenders). I'm pretty good at finding something that indicates major damage work... but this one was probably faulty factory paint, scratches or dings. Its easy to see everything on the chassis and engine is "as-built". At least what I have found.

I'll say its as original as I could hope to find and mechanically stock with minor cosmetic touch up. :D

Nice one Frijoli! Like that front license plate too!

In keeping with a Lil Red Express theme... . that would mean I need twin 5" stacks wouldn't it? ;)

That would be nice. I've been considering a single stack. I think twin stacks both look good, and sound GREAT.

From what I can tell... my emblems look to be original with the original tape. Of course if they were R/I'd in the early 90's there would be no way to know for sure. They look to be in the same place as other readers rigs photos I've looked at. I've noticed a few 4x4's look to be located higher... but not all. Most 2WD's seem to be where mine are. This investigation is actually kinda fun :D.

Did Dodge ever get sloppy with emblems? I once saw a early 99 with a 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel Emblem on one fender... and a 2500 24V Turbo Diesel emblem on the other. The orig owner never noticed it and verified it had never had any work. It was a 24V truck.
