Rubber roof leak

Drill some holes in your truck next weekend

Nice Titanium! congrats on the new setup

If your rig is set up for 50 amp and the front vent is wired for a second A/C,... Do it... . I put the second A/C on my 36' (Toyhauler... really a 28' living area) trailer . . A Regular 13. 5K BTU.

I went to Monument Valley and in 100 degree heat, The 15K Ducted unit was not able to handle it. The heat in the trailer would slowly climb to what it was outside... . My 5500 Gen is able to run both A/C's on low and is now very comfortable.

I don't know about the Titanium trailers, but on mine, there was no insulation under the floor where the bathroom and bedroom (Storage compartment roof) is and the generator compartment had no insulation above it... . seek out where heat can get in... like another place, The pantry next to the fridge, it is not as deep to the wall... thats because the Fridge vent is behind it... . No insulation there either. I used 2" Foam block in 4' X 8' sheets... needed 2 of them... They relate to about R-10 value... .

Very nice  I'm anxious to get ours ready for the season. Which route did you take to get down there? I'd be interested in knowing what you think of the campground. That isn't a bad run from my house here in Newport News. Enjoy your vacation :D

I just came down 64 and went around the north/east side of norfolk this time. At 1:00 in the afternoon traffic was not bad.

As for the extra AC, I think I will wait and see. The titanium has more insulation then any other camper I have owned. Plus with those reflective windows the heat load is not that bad. In my last Terry, with one 13500 AC the temp inside would only stay around 10 deg below the outside temp, This rig I turned the AC on the other day when it was 82 inside, and the temp dropped around 5 deg in an hour even in the sun. I think we are going to be alright. Plus the way its designed it has 2 seperate bedrooms. I can close off the back and front bedrooms and AC just the center section during the day if its hot enough. Its 30 amp, and I would rather keep it that way. Way to many sites I would miss out on if I needed 50 amp.

in 80 somthing degree days my trailer was OK as well. Monument Valley was 110 degrees in july (A dry heat. . :-laf ) and when we started the A/C in the morning, we had "Reflectix" in the windows, The Vent Pillow in the vent holes, I had already done the Insulation fix, and all this was not enough to cool the trailer. Only after adding the second A/C, did it finally cool down on a hot day.

Heres the Vent pillow... . This helps a bunch by itself

If you were to get a 50 amp system, you can still go to 30 amp places with an adapter on the end of the cord, you just can't use both A/C's then.

Even the best trailer MFG's can slip up and negate on some places of insulation. Just try, on a hot day, while the A/C is running, run your hand over junctions of walls, feel the Linoium floor and see if it is warm, or hot. (hot in my case). Just go over it with a fine tooth comb and see what you find.

good luck!
