Haven't paid much attention to my engine bay lately, since the past couple of times I've had a dealer change the fluids, but gave everything the once-over this weekend, and have an oil-leak question...
I noticed it first on the pan, cause I was underneath, oil is on the pan from the drain-plug back, thought it might be leaking, but scooted back and noticed the oil pan bolts were pretty wet all along from the plug back to the T-case, but none south of that.
Also, the intake and exhaust sides of the head are both pretty grungy, especially toward the back.
Should I clean and de-grease the engine, and watch it to see if it's dripping from the head, or if it's possibly the rear seal, or just take it to the dealer and let them figure it out?
Oh yeah, there's no noticeable difference ever in the dipstick, or drips underneath, so it's not a lot of loss, but I sure want to get it taken care of under warranty.
Thanks in advance... Michael
