Tourist Info Wanted-

We are traveling thru OK City & going to the DALLAS BIG TRUCK SHOW this September.

I would like some eatin, watchin, & photo takin info for both cities.

My second request is for where not to go as well.

I will be going thru Memphis on the final leg of my trip. Since there is only ! place to go there, I will be doing Graceland! But dining & tourist photo ops. are still open.

  The bride & I will know what to do when night falls.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks Guys

Pauls Valley, 50 miles south of Oklahoma City. Field's Restaurant. Pecan pie. It's so good it's almost worth moving back to Oklahoma.

I'm originally from near OKC - I hate big cities!

Stay away and out of NE Okla City except to go thru on interstate highways and to see the:

Cowboy Hall of Fame

Okla Firefighters Museum

Murrah Federal Building Memorial - Downtown- DON'T MISS Lost a couple of friends in the bombing.

There's more but can't think of 'em right now.

Oh Yeah!! While in Memphis eat at The Rendezvous. Best BBQ in the south. Sooo gooood that it make you slap your MaMa up side de head and she won't even mind. :--) :D :D Directions: Go downtown, find Peabody Hotel, stand in front entrance, look down alley accross street, halfway down alley there is a door on left. Go in and down stairs. It's in the basement of an abandoned building!!! EAT AND SLAP YO MAMA!!!:D :D :D
