My Old First Gen For Sale!!!!

Hey guys,

My old first gen with 251 rear wheel horse/593 torque is sitting on a dealer lot in San Rafael California for sale. . $7,900 is what their asking for it,i thought i'd let somebody know over here 5-speed... ext cab... 4x2... tow package. . 165,000 miles... . i'd rather a TDR member get it than the average Joe if you know what i mean... ... . the phone number over there is 415-456-9868 and talk to either Bob or Kirk. They are crooks so be careful, but i'm saying theres a good truck down there right now, so act fast if somebody wants it!!!pleaseeeee!

yeah it'll be interesting to see how far i CAN go with this auto transmission {which is a completely different machine} ... i heard they only handle up to 600 ft. pounds of torque, so maybe injectors and some delivery valves, who knows, gotta save some money these are also MORE expensive to play with

Well, lets see-----stacks or straight pipe, air filter, pump mods, control box of some kind, gauges. Yep, its going to cost a lot of money!



Your right about the transmission. Figure it will cost around 2 grand to have rebuilt if it lets go. Even more if you upgrade to a good torque converter.



Oh well, the joys of owning a DC truck. Have a ball and like I said, hope you have as much fun with this one as you did with the old one.
