I just installed DD's power module (ez edge) and I can't feel any differance on any setting, know extra power or boost. I checked the connections and every thing looks OK. Has any one had this problem with there box?

I believe im in the same boat,just installed my power edge ez two days ago. Bought it through the group purchase my verdict is still not out.
I want to give it a fair chance, im actually going to have the truck dynoed today,I will post the results to let you know. One good thing,the guys at edge back their product 100% and promised to get it right if there is a problem,thats the type of customer service I like.

If it is working, you WILL feel a BIG difference! Make sure the MAP sensor connection is correct and disconnect your old boost module. I think that is where it gets it's power...

I just noticed you have DDIII's as well. You may not feel much difference after all, since you are already dumping in GOBS of fuel.

Sean, I removed the boost module when I installed the power module. Even with the big injecters I still think I should feel something, there is not even anymore smoke on the most aggresive setting.
 
Thanks for the info TRADEDV, I talked to DD and Edge today and they said the same thing that I sould feel much more power. Looks like I may has got a bad box, DD will send me a new one today. Can,t wait to here Wayne,s dyno results.
 
Something doesn't sound right. I have a 99' 2500 5spd. I've got DD3's, 4inch, and scotty air. I just added the DD module yesterday. WOW! The nicest difference is the throttle response. Also, it idles quieter. It revs much easier. Overall, the truck feels smoother.

As for the power, I have only tried the heavy fuel setting(starts at 2psi), but it gave the truck the low end grunt that I felt the injectors were missing. First time I pulled out making a left turn, the truck threw the rear end out.

I have only driven it one time, but the boost went up about 3psi under heavy throttle and load. Also, before the box, my egts would hit 1000 under hard low gear/ low boost acceleration. They would hit that mark and then drop back down as boost came on. Now instead of 1000, the truck hits 1100 before it comes back down. Cruising and interstate driving didn't seem much hotter than normal. However, like I said I haven't had a chance to drive it much yet.

Also, compared to the VA I tried before, it made much less smoke. In all fairness though, the VA I tried was the old style.

The only problem I can see is that I still have the stock clutch. I don't think it will live much longer. It feels like the box is going to put it over the edge. I may try the timing only setting until I can get the a new one in.

Overall, I'm a happy camper.

Boatman I dynoed my truck a couple days ago,227hp and 456 ft/lbs with my original setup, 280hp and 612ft/lbs with the EZ edge.
In a nutshell this little module is impressive. That was at 25 psi boost and a max temp of 1050F on the egt.

Thanks Wayne, I just got the new box today and this one definitely works. I have it set on the 20 psi setting and when the boost get to around 20 you can really feel the power come on. Boost is up about 3-4 psi with no extra smoke, I won't know about egt's until spring when I hookup the boat. Thank DD for the great customer service and the quick turn around. Bill K. 's torque converter going in this weekend, I can,t wait.
 
Glad you got it worked out. My DTT valve body and torque converter are on the way also,we will have to compare notes.
