I can make more power on level 2 and 3 than 4 and 5. Boost is down but et is better.

I found this out against a 03 2500 2x4 with a edge and kn filter.

He can take me:--)

We would line up at 70 then go. My better was with my comp on 3. But he would still leave me.

Is this becouse I still have my hy35????

He is lighter than me and lower gears 3. 75

But still I have a comp and injectors:{ :{ :{

I think you're fueling too much for the HY35 turbo. You cannot burn the additional fuel you're adding. I'd get a bigger turbo. Also, I don't know how good dr. performance injectors are. I personally would not own any of his products.

The injectors did make a seat of the pants and a smoke differnce. So I know thay work at least a little. But Had thay not been really cheap (used too) I would not own his stuff also. I think it is time to look for a hx40.

I'd give Piers a call and ask about his HX40. You want to make sure you have enough fueling to drive the HX40 since you have an auto.

You can also ask him about your low power problem. Very nice folks up there.

That turbo is killing you,if you were racing from a dead stop it would be sweet. The HX40 will probably run about 5mph better in the 1/4 mile than your current turbo.

2 things I see that arent in your favor. You show a DTT VB in your signature. If you still have the stock TC this is not helping you at all,especially once the trans comes out of lockup your just making heat at that point. The other thing as you know the HY 35 and stock exhaust arent doing you any favors. Ill tell you this I worked on a fellow a TDR members truck recently,it is an 02,it has a comp,dd2's,stock air filter,lift pump,exhaust and HYturbo. It pulled much harder on level 5 of the comp than it did on level 1 or 3. He has a full DTT treated trans. Have you ever thought about sending you comp back to be checked or swapping boxes with a friend and seeing if that helps? Are you EGTS/boost higher on level 5 than 3?.

HX35 would help, but I doubt it would help that much. I would not put on a HX35 unless you had one laying around and it was free. A 14 cm housing would help more than a stock HX35 with 12 cm housing.

IMHO, better to spend the money on the PDR HX40/16 and not have to worry about getting larger injectors in the future... . :D

What I was thinking was getting a hx40 for my 97 and then putting on it's hx35 on the 01. It is a bummer being a 2 3500 family... ... ... . I need every thing in pairs.
