My Radiator tool tray

I just finished my latest project, and just wanted to show if off a little. Just kidding. Anyway I used the idea from the one Geno's use to sell and came up with my own design and look. I'm sure there are others out there. Maybe some one can use this to make there own. Just a little dress up under the hood idea. Little to pretty to lay tools on though, kind of afraid to scratch it. More pics in reader rigs.

Ya know I saw the one that was being sold for over $100 bones and figured I could build my own, cheaper. That one did'nt have a ridge on the front so your tools could still roll off into the rad. I even saw a couple where the front lip was added to stop that from happening. So I made mine that way, the only cost was a 18" by 3' piece of diamond plate I bought at the steel yard, it was in the scrap pile, only $8, clean, few scratches and it is the thick stuff not the thin flexible grade. I had the welder, paint, angle iron. So $8 project came out ok. Thanks for the compliments guys.
