after towing about 9,000 pounds from central MD, to dillsburg PA. towing at 70mph most of the time a few times i was playing with some other trucks doing some short 70-90 mph bursts, (yes i know its dangerous) but fun. :)

i unhooked the trailer and went strait on the dyno. never changed any settings on the smarty, stayed on SW9. the truck layed down 606HP/1082TQ. i am just simply amazed at how well this OFE has been holding up. i know i am pushing the limits of this thing. but everytime it seems like its on its way out and slips on me. it turns right back around and just holds its butt off when it should'nt. i just figured it was time for an update!

Great to hear the OFE is holding up with that kind of abuse!

I just got mine a month ago. I won't get to those power levels so it should last a while longer than the stock clutch.

That makes me feel good because I have been slipping my FE a bit! And its been in my truck for about 30K miles and I have never had an issue till here lately. Its still blown me away since day one with what i have towed and the power I have had with this thing!

was that the 9,000lb load with trailer??? I'd like to know his HP numbers

yes that well im sure it was alittle heavier than 9,000 with the trailer but not by much. wades truck is probably only 7200 pounds and the trailer wieghs 2500 pounds so at the most about 10,000 lbs.

we did dyno wades truck. it made 675hp. which we all know that, that number is way low for the times that truck has posted on the drag strip. we will get it running right again soon though.
