MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES


It is with great regret that I must inform you guys that the scheduled Santa Fe Springs California tech seminar is cancelled.

In today’s age of information sharing I believed that this teaching seminar would have been beneficial to those that chose to attend.

However, it was NEVER my intention to place anyone or any organization in a position where their livelihood could be compromised.

Please know this, I will not let this minor inconvenience of location deter me in my attempt to teach this seminar. I don’t care if its held in someone’s basement, backfield or parking lot.

I AM PUTTING THE POWERS THAT BE ON NOTICE,
THREATS AND PUSHING PEOPLE AROUND
DOESN’T WORK WITH ME.

Bill, Give me Two Weeks Notice (so i can Take Vacation time) and you can Have it Here at My house in Bakersfield Ca, No Problem-o. But Being I live on Only 1/8 acre (1400 sqft Trac House) Space might be a problem for more than say 25 people. But the offer stil stands. I want to see these Big Wigs push me around! A German/Irish 300+lbs Club Memeber!.

since were all comming up with a place. . I have a 5 acre place with three roads on it. . should be able to park a total of 40++ rigs easy . . maybe more and I'm in the hills on a private road ... Bill your welcome to put on a diesel gathering here. . I'm do east of Modesto. . [which is east of San Francisco , 3 hrs to me] north Cal. to south cal. bout half way. .

Bill, I don't know who or what you're referring to, but I can tell you that you are among friends here, and we DO know how to push back when the necessity arises- just give the word. Money talks and we all know what walks.

I think that if all those guys ARE involved (no proof) then we should allow them to sort it out.

I must agree on your last sentence that communication is the key. But I would think that they shouldn't have be pressured by something like your second statement, into commenting if they don't want to (It may be none of our business).

The products and services that each bring to the market should stand on their own merit. Each of them are supplying quality merchandise and services that are in demand or they wouldn't be in business very long...

Seminars and meetings are cancelled all the time, whether its because of commitment clashes, availability of meeting place, or what ever. If they or anybody for that matter, really want to put a group session together, just reshedule for some later time and place #ad


I'm sure the response will be positive where ever and when ever it happens. #ad

You may be right TD,but we do speak with our wallets and suppliers better remember that. All we want is the free flow of information,I don't think some parties want that. Guess we will wait and see.

Hey guys,

We are still comming to California, make no mistake about that the weekend of Sept. 8 & 9th.

We have been offered quite a few options we are currently looking at.
One of the things we are considering doing is smaller evening gatherings as this is not a sales trip just an opportunity to exchange information. We were thinking of a longer trip more stops.
If you wish you will be able to learn how to adjust the kickdown cable this is my most FAQ , and how to adjust the pressures within your own valve body, and some easily done tricks you can do yourself to make your transmission live longer. And of course what the inside of the TC looks like.
Any one wanting to take photos or notes for the guys that cant make it is more than welcome to do so.
Premises do not have to be fancy just functional.

I need to know if we are on the right track with the evening gatherings as some of you may have to work during the day.

As you are so close to me posting from Abbotsford you better than anyone may know of the local reverse engineering problms we've already encountered. It is not that i dont appreciate your suggestion but we are kind of getting tired of the wolves in sheeps clothing that have been visiting our shop. Lets just say i dont want anymore Steve's in my shop. On a personal note your speech and mannerism's seem very familiar to me, do i know you? I did a profile search on you, and the info. you have posted to date.

Thanks again for the suggestion but our info. sharing venu was chosen to enable random consumers with no product loyalty to us,the opportunity to understand how and why transmissions,TC's and valvebodys work,and to enable the average individual to learn to how to make minor adjustments.
As you said on an earlier post, the products will speak for themselves.
Anything more specific and mechanically detailed will be handled by the technical area on our website. (if and when its ever finished. )

Yes we do know each other and I understand your position fully. My views are strictly MY VIEWS and I hope I have proven that. I am not swaying to one company or the other if I read between the lines correctly.
The purpose of my posting to the TDR is strictly for the benefit of the membership for everyone's information and to answer some of their questions by researching and then passing the expertise on to the TDR members.
I WILL NOT and WOULD NOT place one company over the other unless it is proven and documented that one product is better than another, that would be unprofessional. I would agree with you that there is quite a lot of companies competing with each other for the consumers' dollar but correct me if I'm wrong, but that is business.

Now to address your comment on "enabling random consumers... " I am sure other members who are into working on their trucks would find your information and tips/tricks for adjusting, tweaking, and setting up tranys and valve bodies very informative and would appreciate that type of info in the form of an article. I would suggest that you are one of the technical experts in this area and the members would enjoy receiving your insights. #ad


I would not suggest that you divulge any technical or developmental information unless you see fit but I am sure that once a product is released reverse engineering then becomes a fact of life [tell me no one is looking into the VA CPC or Superchip #ad
