My sister could use some help.

My sister is going through shop class right now. This trimester they are studying engines. She needs to find one by next Monday that she can work on. She has my engine stand which won't take anything more than an ISB (ISC, ISX, N14's are out of the question).



Does anyone here have an engine floating around (preferably P or VE Pumped) that she can use for this class? I will pay to have it shipped to Rosemount, MN and ship it back once she is done. Let me know if one of yous guys has an engine sitting around (yeah right) and can part with it for a while. Please let me know in the next couple of days if you can. That way I can arrange shipment so that she gets it in time.

I don't see why not. But isn't the dt a little over 1200 lbs? I've already exposed her to the idea of the HEUI system and it's pros and cons. So, again, I don't see why not. Where would it be shipping from?

A stupid question, don't they have engines at the school? If they don't I am surprised. Where I went they did. Mech. and electronic. 3. 9L on up to a 3406E.

She's in High School. So there's no engines there. She has to provide one.



Rumpere, I'm gonna try to give you a call tonight. I'm sorry I didn't call you last night, but I've been trying to kick this mother of a cold.



I am also working with Ma Cummins in the 'Cities (since that's where she lives) to see what we can gather up for her to use. We'll just have to see what develops.
