00770F17-3DFD-48ED-8AAE-C91B08A62ECE.jpeg I plumbed these in to the fog light switch

Well it’s not perfect but better than the aftermarket headlights that are broke and flop everywhere. I wired them into the fog light circuit

Come on now, how can there be MORE of them, “10 times more of them”, 20 years after they quit building them?

what are the headlights . I finally figured out what the lights on my 99 are so bad . It’s a sport model fount the extra pigtail laying in the fender well . Got looking around it has the sport grille they mount different from the non sport models it also has the radio buttons on the steering wheel and it has the mileage display in the overhead console : now if could get the speedometer working. the 98 has been through sets of cheap looking lights exactly like you have in your truck the housings break and the lenses are broke on both of them . Genos is out of stock on sport lights until April when they get them back im going to order a set for the 99 and a new set of regular lights for the 98

I thought nobody had a gen two any more but me

Thick as fleas around my area - decent low mileage ones sell used close ot original prices, especially with all the Covid and other issues causing factory assembly problems of new trucks - as well as astromical new truck prices - and very restricted show room/dealer inventory issues.

I've been absent, involved in other activities for a while - and I am sorta amazed that so many of the SAME issues and subjects of years ago, are now again in circulation with "new" second and third owners of these trucks - a forum search of most of these subjects will bring up TONS of info already covered... ;)

Here's ONE of the items I've been sidelined with - a restoration project:

that’s a good looking motorcycle. These trucks are almost never seen in this area until the last few years . Before that everyone had Chevy and Ford . My gripe is there isn’t a decent quality headlight replacement for these trucks . These are the 7th second gen diesel I’ve owned I have bought every cheap junk replacement headlight assembly there is . I know these trucks are popular. I’ve been looking at them and the nice ones are asking as much as my 98 was brand new
