Hey guys,

I installed stacks on my ride, and just got the pics up, if you'd like to check 'em out.

Scott,

I haven't been gettin' any soot on it, I have 4" inside the 5" about halfway up the stack, that seems to keep the water from going into the "real" pipe, instead the water runs down the 5", and out the bottom. It's a real slick idea, I got the idea from another member, sorry, can't remember his name, shame on me.

Awesome looking stacks, wish I could hear um. I saw in your sig that you have a dump bed, is this on your Ram? How did you deal with the stacks and the dumping part? I'm preparing to install a hoist onto my truck to also make it a dump and I pretty much thougt that stacks through the bed would never be in my future. But did you find a way to do it? Also what height springs do you have in front? I like the look alot. Can you tell your truck really impressed me? Anyway good job on the bed smokers!

Kalaehina,

Thanks, I really like 'em alot too, I just posted more pics to show how the dump works, and I have 2. 5" coils from Skyjacker.

I looked in your signature, but I didn't see if that dump bed was electric-over-hydraulic or if it is PTO driven... . ??

Just curious... . it's VERY cool!

Matt,

Yes, it is electric/hydrulic.

Looks great

We want to see some action photos "smoking stacks as you going though the gears:D

Where did you get the dump kit and how much was it and how hard was the installation?

Devil Dog,

I'll get some "smokin'" pics, The kit was about $1000 after shipping, I don't wana tell ya where I got the kit, 'onnacounta I wasn't real impressed with it, I had to modify it quite a bit, and the directions sucked. When I do another one, I'll just make the whole thing myself. The install took two of us the entire day, not including the roll-pan work, which had to be customized and painted. The rear bumper won't work if the truck as a hitch, thats why I have the roll-pan.

Chipstien, Just celebrated 20 yrs of marital bliss. You had better go ahead and order the stacks today since you're not married yet. :D :D :D

Thanks guys, It took a little creativity, and it works really well. I took a bunch of ideas from other members, and merged them all together. So Thanks guys for your input awhile ago when I first asked about stack options, I really appreciate it. :)

People think they're fake, 'cause when I get fuel, I have to tilt the bed a little to access the fillin' spout. Therefore, when I leave the fillin' station, it gives me a good reason to show some smoke. :D

Having to tilt the bed to fuel up is a GOOD thing!

Makes having a locking gas cap/fuel door unnecessary!

This bed tilt option is getting more cool by the minute... .

I need some black dirt hauled in for my back yard. Now if I can convince the wife that the money would be better spent on a dump bed for my truck than paying someone to haul it in..... :D

Only problem may be retaining my goose neck hitch...
