Today I had the pleasure of meeting Bruno and his '06 CTD 6-speed. The aluminum flatbed under the camper was a work of art....

He is starting cross country today, has commitments in Oregon two weeks from now.

Very nice man, his English was better n' mine.....:D

A few quick pics for you all....

Two spare tires and the auxiliary fuel tank live in the storage compartment right behind the truck's cab.

Hey hey, nice to see that the meeting happend right as planned.

Ozy

I had to be in Houlton today so he met me here. Worked out very well.

We were talking about your new camper and he said that you did very nice work. I said that you were fussy, apparently there is no Swiss word for fussy so I had to go with perfectionist....:D

A couple of observations....

These are spare vehicles as a rule, have cars to drive to work and such...

Bruno's frame was treated just like Ozy's, they take corrosion protection very seriously....

These are weekend and vacation vehicles but get driven to the extreme...both Bruno and Ozy have taken their trucks to the Sahara Desert and Ozy goes to the Arctic Circle whenever he gets the chance so they are not babied...

I love those LED taillights, Bruno hunted the internet forever to find those. Remind me of Lego blocks for some reason...

Yeah, Perfectionist is pretty right, it makes me go nuts if something doesn't fit right or just looks not nice. So I need a hell of Time to do the build up. I'll show some pics when I finished the job.
