In this most difficult time for my American friends there has been absolutely no word from the jerks that run my country about sending aid. I guess that the gulf states do not have enough raggedy assed potentially Liberal voting immigration hopefuls to make it worthwhile. It took less than 1 day for us to announce aid for people 1/2 a world away after the tsunami. Today I am sending the American Red Cross my $100. 00 & hopefully other Canadian members will do the same.

This is one time that I am not very proud to be a Canadian.

Thank you DCaswell. It is going to a good cause and I really hope the Red Cross learned it's lesson from 9/11 that the money that gets donated for disaster relief under these circumstances STAYS for the disaster relief the people donating wanted.
