First of all let me say thanks to all who bought the TIPM Saver that I built and sold.

I want to clear the air and say that I will NOT be building them again because of a few issues.

One, they were time consuming to build and I put my best quality workmanship in each and everyone I built.

I have had MANY, MANY inquiries about selling them since I stopped selling them and I don't know where the people are getting my information to call me or email me. I long ago deleted the ad.

I also want people to know that I won't sell the idea or give out drawings.

Some won't understand but I have my reasons that don't need to be aired here.

Basically the TIPM saver put a load relay to handle the current load to the trailer lights and it was fused by a self resetting circuit breaker. The trucks TIPM then only actuated the relay and not the trailer light load.

As Forest Gump said, "And that's all there is about that" ;)

Any chance you could give us a list of the connectors you used to connect to the back side of the 7 pin and a source (Dodge?).

Thanks
Scotty

Two connectors would be needed, a 10 pin female and a 10 pin male. If someone can come up with the part numbers and a source that would be fantastic.

Godspeed,
Trent

Reese made the connector that I used. I am away from home now so I can't post the number. I will post the Reese number when I get home. It plugged into the wire loom and the back of the factory 7 pin plug. I had to alter it to work though.

I am back from my 3. 5 week, 4700 mile road trip. I told you guys that I would post the Reese trailer plug that has the factory male, female plug ends.
It is a Reese 118381.
I had to remove the flat four plug as it was on the wrong side (Not protected by my TIPM Saver). I worked it into the protected side and abandoned the FACTORY flat 4 pin plug.
