I just bought my second set of these in 10 ply 265 75 R 16. If you get a chance. check them out. They are one of the only tires I've seen that doesn't change the tire pattern as they wear out, i. e. check out almosy any tire and as you get it wore down, say about 1/2, all of a sudden the outer area doesn't clean itsels, etc. These tires are quiet, aggressive and I got 65,000 out of them. Now I know I've neard the unbelievable mileage stories about those highway tread tires, but that won't cut it for me.

I just move to your area. Can the tire you purchased have studs installed, We live on MT Norway andvIam told it get icy in the main road to town in the winter. I see the tire are studable. Do yo run winter studs in Camas

Through the end of Oct they're on sale. The privce I paid was $154. 44 each, mounted and balanced. That price doesn't include the Wash Sales Tax, that I also paid. Studding is an additional $10. 50/tire. I'm thinking about buying an additional set and putting the studs on, but I really don't like the expense of the changeover every year nor the great upfront cost of additional set of wheels. Still doing the mental gymnastics on that one. Regarding studs, I ran all over the NW last winter, Northern Idaho, Eastern Wa, Or and a little of Montana. I was lucky in that the days I traveled I got by just fine without studs. On Mt Norway, let me tell you, we haven't had a bad winter in years, when we do get an ice storm, well they can certainly help, but chains or staying at home is the real ticket.
