recap:
it is still kicking in and out of lockup. it seems to only be affected by bumps which leads me to believe it is an electrical problem.
replaced: tps, transmission temp sensor, brake switch. grounds checked ok. capacitors have been tried - no fix.
i took it in today to the guys in columbus (supposed to be dodge ctd experts). they put on the snap-on tool (scanner 2500) on it and we drove it down the road. the sensors were reading ok when the tcc unlocked. the tool read on/off when the tcc would unlock and lock back up. on several occasions the tcc would unlock with no indicator on the tool. i. e. the tool still read "on" when it was unlocked. the junior transmission man said that we should try a gov press solenoid. so we did. i drove up to the office with the new solenoid in and it is still whacked out... i have an appointment in the am. they said they have a "computer" they can put on it. don't know why they wait to pull out the big guns.
oh well. maybe i'll have more good news tomorrow.
any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
thanks. scott.
