My truck got its first trophy........

I went to a local car show yesterday and entered my truck as "specialty vehicle" because of the different types of fuels I've been dumping into it. I made up a few signs on the computer and taped them on the inside of the truck. I wasn't sure how people were going to react to it. But alot of people came over to ask question about biodiesel and stuff. The best comment, a gentlemen with a completely decked vette came over and said "my wife said your truck runs on vegetable oil, I had to see" he was like a little kid talking to me. They also gave me their used cooking oil, which of course will be in the tank before I go the next show this week

I saw your headline and right now my mindset is on hunting. I think of a "trophy" as a nice 6 point elk. I thought you hit a bull or something! Glad to hear you got a trophy of the award type. Congratulations! -frank

I have hit two deer in my time..... 1 doe, 1 stag. Stupid doe partially damaged my '77 monaco police car. Stag wrecked a rental... .



I put "trophy" and I was wondering if people were going to think I hit something... lol

Ive gotten a little notariety in my truck. I thought you were talking about the boys in blue issuing you awards. The kind you have to pay or see a judge about.

thanks, I got a show in Ridgewood NJ Friday, Frenchtown NJ Saturday and the Alternative Wheels festival in Brookline Mass on Sunday. Just got tired of seeing all of the very tiny multifuel vehicles out there
