My truck wants to go faster? (TST Problem)

Over the last week or so, my TST has been going to higher hp levels on it's own. I'll run 4/4 all day and park the truck. Get in the next morning an it's on 6/4. Change it back to 4/4 and run all day and get in the next morning and it's on 8/4... Does my truck just want to go faster or what? Anyone else have something like this happen? Oh and I'm the only driver of the truck, no ones changing the settings without me knowing.

It did today... I got in and didn't notice and merged onto the freeway and I was like man this things got some pull! Looked down and was like



EGT's were just about 1300 too.

there is a thread going on over on another website with a guy having the same problem. He said TST has gottena couple calls about it. I guess give them a call and see what they have to say

Thats a negative, like I said, I'm the only one that ever drives it.

We have sold several TST PMCR's and I have had a couple that have had that problem. The guys at TST are very helpful in resolving the problem.

It did it again today. Got in the truck in the parking lot at school and when I pulled out and hit 3rd I left a smoke cloud you could see from the next state over! Looked down and I was on 9/4



I need to really start paying attention to what it's on when starting up now I guess. Going to call TST tomorrow morning I guess.

So did TST want the unit sent back and then sent a replacement? Don't know if I can go back to driving a stock SO while it's being fixed :-laf

I am glad I read this thread, I have experienced the same thing. I thought I was losing it. I never run higher than 6/6 and when I pull in my sub division, I set it back to 4/4. One morning I left for work and after putting my daughter in her seat, I started the truck up and took off and left a cloud of smoke. I was at 4/8 when I left my drive way. Made me think I was losing it. I need to get ahold of them, TST, any way, I keep through the dumb cam sensor code at 1,100 rpm's.



I am the same way, i don't want to run a stock SO around town, I may get smoked. I may just see how much it would cost to just have a new box sent to me so i will have one with the old program and one with the new.
