Competition My truck

I am flippin through the pages of my much anticipated TDR quarterly,and WOW there is a picture of my truck spankin a furd at the drag strip in Terra Haute. My number was 909 and my best time was 11. 2 secs@63. 73mph. The fastest speed of the day was 9. 2 secs 74. 75mph. A few stock trucks ran 14. s 1/8 mile track. This was my first time and now I am hooked. Ouch my poor poor wallet.

Do you have a fueling box on your truck?

If not, you need one!



I thought a guy ran an 8. 9? with the white 2wd 12 valve with slicks in the rear.

2nd fastest was the guy from Indianapolis 9. 2 (I think) running a dually with propane amongst other mods.

3rd was myself I ran 9. 5's several times.

Kaptn, is your truck 4WD? Might be able to get some more out of it if it is. FYI, our truck runs 8. 4x @ 81mph on just #2 and 7. 50's @ 86mph on nitrous in the 1/8.

I went back later and had them dig the computer print,out of the trash. I will double check the fastest time again and let you know,the copy is at work. All the trucks are listed. Yes I have 4 wheel drive,and hi egts. I am going with a bigger exhaust and turbo,then fueling box (edge comp). Debating HX35 or HX40 hmmmm any suggestions?

I would go ahead and get the Piers HX40 with the 16 turbine housing.

Im sure others will chime in with their testimony of this product.

I checked through the computer print out of all the runs that morning and low and behold on a page all by itself.

8. 90@79. 37 mph. I stand corrected.
