'95 Ram 2500 4x4 w/ 47rh
I think the connected plug is the manifold air temperature sender, but does anyone know what the other disconnected plug is?
I bought this truck used, so I don't know its history.

Sorry that did come out right about, it looks like for the light the hood , that is why I asked how long it was ,does it have the solesnod to engine, does it run ?

I have a 350 1 ton , 4 X 4 duel ,a 97 if I could see the whole wording harness I could tell you better , on some the older ones has a solenoid to start and stop it , also the oil singer in far back of head on lift side .

Wires to hood light are intact. Truck runs fine, and all gauges function correctly. The wires tie into a harness a few inches away from the plug.

I have one dangling there also. I think it is the connector for the fuel heater harness that I deleted more than a decade ago. Does yours still have the fuel heater above the pre-filter bowl? You could always peruse the factory service manual's wire diagrams which will show the wire colors and the connector.

Water in fuel connector maybe? is your fuel filter still in place on the block? under all the wire harnesses.
I have had a wire connector hanging below the steering shaft, since new, and was told it was a hot plug for a topper shell. It has two leads inside. Does it power the shell?

I have a 95 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9l with blue cable hooked up but no red loose cable, all cables in that section are connected to two relays and are white, relays are located on firewall above engine.

Fuel heater over pre filter is gone. Harness for water in girl is down below. Doesn't look near heavy enough for fuel heat. I'll try and see what color the wires are.
