DUMB QUESTION:

The little cubby hole (down by the shifter) .

Last night, for the first time I noticed that it was on?? Is this (or does) this stay on all the time????

It did not go out when I pushed the head lights off... I reached down to feel it and it was VERY HOT,, I became concerned that it would cause a melt down,,,so I pulled the BULB??



Any one else had this problem?? or Is it one?

The light in my cubbyhole is controlled by the dimmer switch. In fact, I used it to power the gauge backlighting. Does your dimmer work?

Thanks for getting back.

Yes the dimmer switch works,,, on the dash and all. But it was just last week I notice that it was on (never noticed before)

Turned hight lighs off,,,but it did no go out????

I touched it to see if lose ,,etc,

"OUCH" very very hot,,,,,,,,,,, Pulled it afaried of melt down.
